Smt. Laxmibai Radhakisan Toshniwal (LRT) College of Commerce, Akola is a leading single faculty commerce college in Western Vidarbha. College was establis hed in 1964 by ‘The Berar General Education Society, Akola.’ Vision of the college is to “To become one of the best educational institutions in the country by attaining excellence in commerce education” College is permanently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, (SGBAU) Amravati. College have been awarded ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in second and third cycle continuously. Recently UGC has conferred college with ‘CPE’ status and appointed as a ‘Lead College’ by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati for guiding other colleges of this region regarding ‘NACC Assessment & Re-accreditation process.
