Overview

The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) Study Centre at our college was established in 1990, thanks to the efforts of former principals Late Shri K.G. Gandhiji and Shri B.S. Chandakji. The center provides flexible, distance learning opportunities for students seeking higher education while balancing other commitments.

Initially, the centre offered B.A. and B.Com courses, with the M.B.A. program introduced in 1993–94 under Dr. N.M. Shah, the first coordinator of the M.B.A. program. Prof. S.R. Upadhyay served as the first coordinator for B.A./B.Com and the first district coordinator of the center from 1993 to 1998.

Though the M.B.A. course was temporarily closed in 2001–02, it was later reinstated under the guidance of Dr. S.G. Chapke, Principal of the college and Director of the center, with the support of the current management.
