• This is one-year postgraduate course leading to Diploma in Business Management.

Eligibility

• A Gradute of any faculty of SGB Amravati University or any other Statutory University, recognized by SGB Amravati University.
• A candidate who obtained a Professional Diploma or Certificate from any one of the Following Institutions, namely:
  • The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India
  • The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
  • The Indian Institute of Bankers
  • The Institute of Company Secretaries, and
  • Any other Institute which may be recognized for this purpose by the University.

Course Curriculum

The examination in Diploma in Business Management shall comprise of the following papers carrying 100 Marks each

• Principles of Management
• Financial Management
• Marketing and Sales Management
• Office Management
• Industrial Relation and Labour Legislation
• Personnel Management

100 marks and shall be distributed as under

• Written Examination - 80 Marks
• Sessional - 20 Marks
• Sessional marks shall be awarded by the Head of the Department in consultation with the subject teacher and shall be based on :-
  • Terminal examination
  • Field visits
  • Assignments
  • Term Report shall be based on all the three points mentioned above.
